The entrepreneurs need to create a buyer persona. Watch ‘Buyer persona’ Founda video. A buyer persona is, according to HubSpot, a semi-fictional representation of your ideal customer. It's based on market research, actual data about your existing customers, and a few (educated) assumptions. It helps you to understand and relate to an audience that you want to market your products and services too. Have the entrepreneurs define buyer persona. 10mins
Have the entrepreneurs now research buyer persona on the internet and make use of the huge amount of resources to cement their understanding. 10mins
They now need to create a buyer persona for their business. Done correctly, this will be invaluable when they start their social campaigns. Use Hubspot's buyer persona tool at https://www.hubspot.com/make-my-persona. 25mins
Share the buyer personas around the class - check for understanding and that the entrepreneurs have lasered in on a specific persona and not a broad target audience (25-45yr old females/males for example). 10min
